Society V-A-S Official Website.
Welcome to V-A-S the premier North Wales aviation society website. Valley Aviation Society was formed in 1993 by a group of
friends living around North Wales and within easy reach of RAF Valley, Anglesey.
The Valley Aviation Society is a non profit making organization, run by a small group of dedicated volunteers. Through charitable events and generous donations we receive throughout the year we are able to help local charities. Over the last twenty years, the Valley Aviation Society has donated £160,000 to these good causes.
The society holds a number of events
throughout the year, including visits to RAF Valley and many other RAF base stations. We also attend Airshows both in the UK
and Europe by air/luxury coaches.
Furthermore, we meet on the last Monday of each
month at Bangor Masonic Hall, whereby guest speakers range from serving aircrew at RAF Valley to local aviation
historians. we are always looking for new members, so if you would like to join our society, please download and print the membership form below.

Once again after a very successful and packed VAS Photo Competition meeting (29th March 2016) we have added the winning entrees to our website for members that could not make it to the meeting.
The level of quality in entrees it is getting better each year, with more and more members taking part to have their photos displayed at RAF Valley and have them viewed by all RAF personnel which also pick the winning photos for each category.
If you would like to take part in the 2017 VAS Photo Competition, contact me (Jim LeCras) for further information. Details can be found on the about us page.
Could you please enclose a SAE (self addressed envelope with stamp) if you wish to have your photos returned to you through the Royal Mail.
